Minor All Ireland Championship Round 2 – Waterford V Antrim

Hard luck to the Minor girls today against Antrim. The Deise side had a great start with goals from Emma Walsh Portlaw , Molly Kenneally Ballyduff Upper and Aine Mackey St Anne’s in quick succession. Aisling Bonnar St Anne’s followed up with 5 points and a point from Rebecca Farrell Butlerstown to see a half time score of Wat 3:06 Antrim 2:11. Second half saw points from Kim McGrath Tramore and Aisling Bonnar Wat 3:08 Antrim 3:15 (48 mins on the clock). Molly Kenneally found the net for a second time with another 2 points from Aisling Bonnar but unfortunately the whistle blew to a final score of Wat 4:10 Antrim 4:16. Be proud girls onwards and upwards
