Today’s U17’s Development All Ireland Series semi final had plenty of drama as Sophie Norris Abbeyside got the scoreboard moving after the first minute from a free . Followed by a second point from play by Tramore’s Leah Obanya. Kildare followed with a point after 7 mins and a goal at the tenth min. Ballyduff Uppers Sarah Barry scored a point from play , Kildare got a goal and Leah Obanya responded with a point from play. Half time score saw the sides at Wat 0:04 Kildare 2:02. A dramatic second half saw Kildare come out strong with a goal in the 31st min and a point. Tramore’s Leah Obanya never dropped her head but decided to start the impressive comeback with a powerful goal 35 mins and Emma Lyons Butlerstown found the back of the net 2 mins later .

Only 3 points behind and 49 mins on the clock Ballyduff Uppers Sarah Barry found the net. All square and a tough 10 mins for both teams. Leah Obanya on fire and drives on with a point from play and another goal . With 3 points up and injury time introduced Obanya scores the final point from play . Deise Ladies take the win on a score line of Waterford 4:09 Kildare 4:05. They will now proceed to an All Ireland Final in two weeks time.
